Web Content Producer

Produces content for the station website, mobile platforms and social media, including written copy, video and pictures and manages placement of the content on multiple platforms while growing audience.
Create content for all digital platforms while communicating with newsroom staff. Work with News reporters, photographers, producers, sales team, local programming and other departments to develop and post materials on the website, mobile platforms and social media using strategies created by the station.
5 years’ experience in print or broadcast journalism, 3 years of web/social media experience.
Command of HTML code, Adobe Photoshop, nonlinear editing.
Strong knowledge of web content management systems, Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms, newsroom video editing, strong news judgement, strong writing ability using AP style preferred.
