ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE (17000334)
The Account Executive is responsible for maximizing share on established television and digital accounts as well as developing new accounts by converting marketing dollars from competitive TV stations and alternative advertising platforms. Candidate will service established agency accounts as directed by sales management, and establish direct client contact while maintaining cooperative relationships with the agencies. Position requires a strong understanding of digital platforms and a proven track record of successful digital sales. Position will develop and present in-depth multi-screen platform sales and research presentations and generate frequent written correspondence such as pre/post buy letters.
This position requires a strong understanding of digital platforms and a proven track record of successful digital sales. AE must have the ability to work under daily deadline pressure with attention to detail, be self-motivated and work as part of a team. Candidate must also have strong creative, organizational, planning and prospecting skills. AE must be able to communicate effectively/politely with co-workers and clients. Interviewees must have a thorough knowledge of television ratings and research as it relates Nielsen and Rentrak data. Position requires a valid driver’s license and transportation. A Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university in a related field preferred. A minimum of three years of experience in broadcast television and digital platform sales required.
